Testimonials

"My therapist is an absolute phenomenal therapist, hearing aid, coach, and above all, person. She is flexible, she is intuitive. She is intelligent. I look forward to my sessions, as I know that how I am feeling in the moment will not only be addressed but be worked into the bigger picture."
"I really, really appreciate my therapist. I finally have a therapist who is amazing at their job and makes me feel comfortable enough to do the work I need to do."
"I am 100% “appreciative” of my therapist. Her expertise, empathy, kindness, practicality, and down-to-earth attitude are all extremely important to me. I have the utmost respect for her many skills and broad range of knowledge."
"My therapist is absolutely phenomenal. She has always been accommodating to me and talks to me like she would to a friend. I have never felt talked down to or judged in any way. Her genuine nature always puts me at ease, and I love that she is continuing to constantly educate herself on different things."
"My daughter’s sessions with her therapist are the highlight of her week. We are very thankful for the availability of support from her. The staff in the Sexual Assault Center have helped us tremendously through this difficult situation."
"When our old therapist had to temporarily leave, two of the therapists from the Sexual Assault Center took over my daughters and my case. They worked hard to make sure my girls didn’t feel like they had to start all over and made sure we still felt welcomed and most importantly safe. We will always have love in our hearts for not only the company but the staff that has affected our lives wonderfully during the hardest times and helped our family in many different ways tremendously. Thank you."
"My therapist is wonderful. She is able to “read” me and help decide where I would like to go in each session. She is skilled at redirecting should I go on a tangent or change topics to avoid addressing difficult emotions and situations."
"My therapist is amazing! Very kind, thoughtful and has given me great perspective already. I appreciate her and the Child & Family Services’ intake worker who called to let me know a spot was available for me. Her kindness was extremely important to me."
"Thanks to my therapist I have been self harm clean, supported, and she has been so understanding, and makes me cheer up."
"My therapist continues to support me through reclaiming my power after abuse, and always meets me where I am. I appreciate how she listens, reflects and offers important feedback or suggestions that help me to see my situation more clearly. Working out of abuse isn’t easy, but with the support I receive at Child & Family Services, it is becoming possible"
"Kochville Township has partnered with Child & Family Services over the last several years in their Employee Assistance Program. We have found their staff to be engaging, willing and readily available to help in answering staff questions, and providing written informational resources that we share monthly with our staff. Their Director has come into our office for a site visit to help educate and inform our staff in understanding the benefits offered in the program and how to use it. She is also scheduled to do a staff training in the near future. This is an excellent program!"
