About Us

Sheila has worked at CFS part-time since April 2021. She says, her job is fun with great coworkers. Each day is an adventure. Her job has its challenges at times but it’s also satisfying. Sheila is an avid sports spectator. Football is her passion as are the Green Bay Packers. She may also be known to stop at a casino to invest at times.

Louise has worked at Child & Family Services since December 2023. She enjoys her job because this is a wonderful organization to be a part of and because of the amazing people she works with every day. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loves bike riding and going on vacation with her husband!

• Education: Medical Billing Certificate from Delta College
• Favorite part of my job: being there for the clients we serve. Whether it’s scheduling their intake appointment, checking them in at the front desk, or answering a billing question, I enjoy helping clients however I can.
• Outside interests: spending time with my husband, our baby boy and families, enjoying a good series on Netflix/Hulu/Max, going out for coffee, and cheering for THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Alison has been the agency’s Billing Manager since 2012. She oversees the medical billing for services provided by C&FS. She makes sure claims are billed correctly and promptly, handles the accounts receivable, verifies insurance benefits for clients, answers any billing questions and problem solves billing issues that clients may have.

Bobbie Jo has worked at Child & Family since December 2023.  She enjoys her job because it makes her feel like her work makes a difference.

• Activities/Interests: Bobbie Jo loves spending time with her family, riding motorcycles, traveling the world, and warm weather.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University
• Favorite part of my job: Helping clients take the first step in getting the mental health support they need and deserve
• Outside interests: Spending time with my husband and daughter, being my dogs best friend, going to concerts and sporting events, all things Disney, and road tripping with good snacks and great music.

As the Intake & Supports Coordinator, Kristi helps connect clients seeking mental health support with one of our many therapists. She recognizes that making that first call can be intimating and tries to reduce any initial anxiety to the therapy process by offering compassion and understanding. Kristi takes time to listen to each clients’ individual needs, validating their feelings and empathizing with their lived experiences. She then schedules the client with a therapist that will be best suited to help them meet their goals in treatment.

• Education: Associates degree from Delta College

• Outside interests: Desiree is a proud mother and wife. She enjoys working out, spending quality time with her family, and cheering loudly for her favorite athletes – her children. You may find her getting lost in a good book, shopping, enjoying a coffee date, snacking on movie popcorn, traveling, or sharing smiles and laughter with loved ones.

As the Intake Coordinator, Desiree serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services. She assesses each person’s emotional health needs and thoughtfully matches them with the clinician who best fits their unique circumstances, insurance coverage, and financial considerations.
