Jane brings over 5 years of clinical experience to Child and Family Services. Her entire professional career has been spent supporting survivors of either sexual or domestic violence. Jane has a passion for supporting survivors and their families through all stages of their healing and brings a trauma-informed lens to the work she does. Her previous work both as a victim advocate and a clinician within the Sexual Assault Center allow her to prioritize dignity, worth, and compassion when supporting the Sexual Assault Center’s mission.

• Outside Interests: Mishelle enjoys reading, cooking, and crafting.

Mishelle has several years of experience working with survivors of trauma. She has experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as teens and adults of any age. She works to provide client-centered care with every session.

• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies and Psychology from Central Michigan University
• Favorite Part of the Job: Tracy values being able to be a consistent and loyal piece of the criminal justice system for people walking through an unpredictable, frightening time.
• Outside Interests: Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, kayaking, hiking, sunshine, as well as word/jigsaw puzzles.

As the Legal Advocate at C&FS, Tracy’s focus is supporting sexual violence survivors and their families through the criminal justice process, both physically and emotionally. It is important that victims know and understand their rights while also being prepared for any court hearing they may participate in. Tracy assists in providing that information to clients while also reminding them that they are never alone.

• Favorite Part of the Job: Allison values having the opportunity to train volunteers to be victim advocates and celebrate their success in offering stability and safety to victims of sexual assault as they endure the evidence-collection process.
• Outside Interests: Allsion enjoys visiting craft breweries with her partner, making music with friends, spending time with her dog, gardening, quilting, and D&D.

As the Crisis Services Coordinator, Allison provides direct crisis intervention services to victims of sexual assault, manages a team of volunteer victim advocates, nurtures the Sexual Assault Center’s relationship with partner programs such as the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) team, and coordinates the community Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). Allison helps to ensure that victims of sexual assault in Saginaw County receive a comprehensive, trauma-informed, victim-centered, coordinated response at every level of care.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saginaw Valley State University.
• Favorite Part of the Job: Elizabeth appreciates having the opportunity to help individuals obtain information and assistance as needed. She also enjoys meeting people and building partnerships to coordinate best efforts for the victim.
• Outside Interests: Elizabeth enjoys any outside activities, reading, cooking, spending time with family, and watching a good scary movie.

Elizabeth role with Child & Family Services is as the Victim Services Specialist for Saginaw Police Department and affiliated departments. Prior to this opportunity, she was working with the Saginaw Police Department in Technical Services. Elizabeth has experience with positive interactions and assisting citizens, victims, officers, and partnering agencies. Elizabeth is ecstatic to be part of the team and to provide support for all who need assistance.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Saginaw Valley State University.
• Favorite Part of the Job: Jess values having the ability to provide support to victims and offering aid to survivors in any way she is able.
• Outside Interests: Jess enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, traveling (mainly to Disney World), and learning new things or information about the world around her.

Jess joined the Sexual Assault Center team at Child & Family Services as the Victim Services Specialist with the Saginaw Police Department. Prior to this position, Jess worked in various roles at Bay Area Women’s Center and Saginaw Psychological Inc. Jess is excited to be part of the team and to provide support to fellow community members.
